A Cheery Culinary Voice, Stilled - The Local - Fort-Greene Blog - NYTimes.com
Sapolo is one of the worst restaurants I have ever eaten in. No one there is cheery. Everyone there is either sad or high and confused. It attracts Pratt freshman every fall because it’s big and brightly colored and serves alcohol to very young people but they usually catch on to what a hole this place is pretty quickly. One positive thing about Sapolo: pretend airplane wreckage precariously hung from the ceiling a la Centerstage’s 2004 production of “Misalliance.”
